🔥 Cook Time: 20 mins

🍽️ Serves: 3–4

Ingredients

For the Rice:

  • Cooked jasmine or basmati rice – 3 cups (preferably day-old)

  • Black rice or squid ink (optional) – ½ cup (for colour)

  • Garlic – 6 cloves, finely chopped

  • Onion – 1 small, chopped

  • Mixed veggies (bell peppers, carrots, beans) – 1 cup

  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp

  • Dark soy sauce – 1 tsp

  • Vinegar – 1 tsp

  • Black pepper – ½ tsp

  • Salt – to taste

  • Oil or butter – 2 tbsp

  • Spring onion greens – for garnish

🪄 Instructions

1️⃣ The Dark Base:
In your Mahaa Professional Fry Pan, heat oil or butter.
Add garlic and onion; sauté till golden and aromatic.

2️⃣ Stir-Fry the Colour:
Add veggies and toss on high flame for 2–3 minutes.
Stir in the black rice or squid ink for that deep, eerie hue.

3️⃣ Toss the Magic:
Add the cooked rice, soy sauces, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
Mix well till every grain gleams with a mysterious black shine.

4️⃣ The Grand Finish:
Top with chopped spring onions and a light drizzle of butter.
Serve hot with chilli paneer, crispy tofu, or a side of eerie green chutney.

👩🍳 Mahaa Tip:

For perfect non-stick performance without coatings, preheat your Mahaa Professional Fry Pan for 30 seconds, then lower the flame before adding oil.
It seals the stainless steel surface — naturally.

🎭 Presentation Idea:

Serve on a matte black plate or banana leaf for contrast.
Add edible red chillies or beet chips for a "bloody edge", and call it The Witch’s Rice Bowl!
