Introduction

Bright yellow lemon rice paired with crispy potato fry — a timeless comfort meal. The Mahaa Deep Kadai makes both dishes quick and fuss-free.

Ingredients

For Lemon Rice:

  • Cooked rice – 2 cups

  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp

  • Mustard seeds – 1 tsp

  • Urad dal – 1 tsp

  • Chana dal – 1 tsp

  • Curry leaves – few

  • Green chilies – 2

  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp

  • Oil – 2 tbsp

  • Salt – to taste

For Potato Fry:

  • Boiled potatoes – 3, cubed

  • Chili powder – ½ tsp

  • Curry leaves – few

  • Salt – to taste

Method

  1. Temper Rice: Heat oil in Mahaa Deep Kadai, add mustard, dals, curry leaves, and green chilies.

  2. Add turmeric, salt, rice; mix well. Turn off flame, add lemon juice.

  3. Fry Potatoes: In the same kadai, heat a little oil, add potatoes, chili powder, curry leaves, and sauté till crisp.

Use minimal oil — Mahaa’s even heat spreads flavor without greasiness.
